"Silver Microphone"
The Silver Microphone Award competition was open to more than
40,000 advertising agencies, production studios and radio station in the United States.
Entries in 29 categories were judged for creativity, production quality, copywriting,
talent and overall effectiveness.
A
panel of judges, representing all aspects of the broadcast advertising industry, rated
each entry. Four Finalists from each category entered a second round of judging to
determine the National Winner in each category. The National Winners and National
Finalists represent the best radio programming produced in the United States within the
